Nice cladids there, Peter - at least the first one is. Good lighting, to pick up the plate boundaries on the calyx (which is the most critical feature for taxonomy). The arm branching on the second one is very typical (although it may be inadunate rather than cladid) - shame the calyx has been broken off.
Really nice material... how much of this have you got?

Dr. Forest Gahn commented "I'm currently working on a fauna from the lower Belen Formation (early Devonian) that includes about 15 new species. The specimens in your photo album appear to be from that same formation. If you've been in contact with Jeff, you probably know that he and Bill Ausich have a paper in press on some Devonian crinoids from Bolivia. One of those species--a new species of Ctenocrinus is in your collection. You also appear to have some material that represents new species and genera of crinoids from the Hapalocrinidae, Ophiocrinidae, and Rutkowskicrinidae, which are among the commonest crinoids in the lower Belen Formation."

That is superb - great to know that there will soon be names to attach to these things.
