Not too bad down here, although we had a couple of inches of snow yesterday (needs a lot more than that to make it worthwhile... ;D). You're getting the wind a lot more severely than we are at the moment, although that might change next week - the storm approaching for Christmas Eve looks like a bit of a monster. Any problems with flooding in your village?

So far, flooding hasn't been a problem here. The area where the two small rivers merge has had minor problems in the past and the coastline is eroding at about 1 metre per year. The mountains (seen from Bangor) were white-frosted yesterday but it's relatively mild here. (It feels pretty cold when you're standing in wind-driven wet, though.) The winds haven't picked up yet but I had to retrieve my recycling bins from assorted points down the road when I got home from Pwllheli.
