Sadly, we agree - we tried to get this to work for several years, but the lack of critical mass became so unworkable that as you've pointed out, even we've forgotten about it... Time to close it down, perhaps. If things change in future (there are possibilities), then maybe we'll re-open it. Many thanks for your contribution and efforts, and apologies for the failings! I might well end up joining you over on the other one... All the best, Joe

Thanks for that, Peter, and we'll make the effort. To be honest, it should be a lot easier now that we have a research job and aren't trying to fit everything in around working full time... So, yes, we'll do our best and will be looking forward to the unknowns! Thanks for noticing the Nature paper, too - they're very overstated things, but they do make you feel good! ;-)

It's actually pretty much all Peter's discovery, that one - he's been working there for years and patiently building up the contacts and knowledge... we just happen to work with him! However, we're hoping to rival it with something that's turned up in North Wales, although we'll need the summer fieldwork to find out whether it is really interesting... sadly I can't say much more for now!

Still it was a team effort and you people had lots to show the world of your discovery. That is great news... Wow North Wales... that is great Joe!
