Hi all,
Just to quickly introduce myself: my name is Tim and I collect fossil plants. Hope to learn a lot here!

Pleasure is mine! I've seen some really nice and interesting posts of "Neuropteris" here; I like this forum!

Hope we can accommodate, Tim - we don't get all that many plants in the Ordovician, but this place seems to be diversifying rapidly, which is good news!

This forum will evolve based on the user participant... I have got some early silurian plant that I can post later.... and land and aquatic...., and I got some Mazon Creek plants in concretions.... So keep on posting Tim....

Geez, uhm, I must admit I didn't fully realise this forum was meant as "exclusively paleozoic". I'll try to keep to the format by posting mostly Silurian-Permian material here. However, I assume that no-one objects to also some nice posts about younger plant material, right?...
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to your Silurian plant material Pleecan! I'll try to keep up by posting something about my Devonian material from Belgium in the near future...

Hi Tim,
Younger material is welcome! We set this forum up to have a Palaeozoic focus, but discussion on any aspect of palaeontology is welcome.
