They are neat looking creatures.... they can be found in Mazon Creek Biota in the USA.

I think they're not particularly common fossils., but because they're so big and impressive they always turn up in the Carboniferous reconstructions.
There's a particularly nice trackway on the Scottish island of Arran that we were taken to see as undergraduates. One of these days I'll go back and see it again.
