Hi, I'm Steve from the North West UK and I'm pretty keen on UK Lias ammonites and my local rock ...upper carboniferous plants & critters and anything I can learn about the carboniferous paleonvironment from my finds along the way.... Ive always collected ammonites but I got into the local carb stuff by accident when I saw some plant fossils advertised for sale on the internet, I thought I wouldnt mind finding a few bits myself to fill a frame... and very quickly became interested and started to collect it....

You're very welcome, Steve! Isn't it weird how addictive the Carboniferous can be? I never had that much time to spend on it, but it was great fun, and there was always something interesting to show for an outing! Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff, but it's pretty spectacular already...

Joe.... Its very addictive... and your right, you always spot something or learn something each trip... another little piece of the jigsaw even if you dont bring it home...
