Superb, Peter - looks like you're hitting the right beds over there. The scavenger borings are nice as well - you see the same thing in large arthropod carapaces like Zagoracaris from the Fezouata, and also widely in the Burgess Shale-type faunas (especially Kaili, I think). I wonder what was making it..?

I went back to the place where 2010 spring, I found a phyllocarid mandible element hoping to find remains of a phyllocarid and there it was..... : ) I got a picture of the burrows on the carapace that I will post later on... Peter
