Hi All - Joe's description of the Builth Inlier - " You can normally see the boundary of the inlier by the topography - the Ordovician rocks form rather craggy, irregular high ground, with the surrounding Silurian being flat or rounded." - caught my imagination so I went to a location just north of Llandegley and made this 180-degree panorama. It's only Llandegley Rocks (just right of centre) that stands out but the rounded / craggy distinction is quite clear. Nothing too sophisticated I'm afraid - just a BlackBerry and Microsoft ICE again! The shots were taken from near a site we've begun to explore and as soon as we have a nice presentation to make we'll post pics of the finds so far in this group (unless of course our Esteemed Moderators would prefer this stuff elsewhere!)
