Dr. John Long commented " Its a tricky one -looks osteichthyan to me (not placoderm, definitely not shark), with dermal ridges on one end, possibly something from the shoulder gridle, (? dipnoan style anocliethrum?) but hard to pin down further without (a) examining it in person and (b) getting it out of the rock to show both sides."
