Image in the backyard with a home built 3" refractor scope made from pvc pipe... filter comes from Thousand Oaks Optical , special mylar solar filter....

Hi Joe: Hope you are feeling better I was really happy to capture the venus transit across the sun on my experimental set up... home built refractor telescope and home built mounted solar filter with duct tape and Aluminum foil...... first time imaging the sun... with a 20min window... captured : )
