Phew. I've just finished adding another 18 'to be drawns' to the faunal lists (five brachiopods, three molluscs, three ostracodes, two graptolites, two problematica and a bryozoan). And, would you believe it... As far as I know, at this point, and excluding the soft-bodied beasties, it is now complete! Hurrah! Yes, at 325 species, I am now honestly struggling to think of any more. Of course, there are some. They'll remind me of themselves when I'm trying to get to sleep, or suddenly leap out of a corner of some slab that I've been trying to ignore... or I'll suddenly realise that I've missed one that I was sure I'd done... but until that happens, we can rest easy. Until the next fieldwork, that is... Joe

I was starting to get bored, without being able to add lots more species. So I've started on something that should have been done ages ago, and begun adding authorships/citations. For many species, there's only been one description, so that's easy. If it was originally described from elsewhere, I'm giving Name Author & date (reference to Builth Inlier description). That should cover everything. If you want more detail, go to the taxonomic database. Anything with no author is currently undescribed. I've just done the sponges, and will hopefully manage the echinoderms as well tonight. Technically I've also done the problematica, because none of them have been described yet, as far as I know. Joe

Well, that was easy. I've also done the echinoderms, bryozoans, microfossils, trace fossils, 'other arthropods', cnidarians and problematica. It helps that hardly any of them have been published...

...and the ostacodes too. Just the better-described things left now, so I'll leave it for a bit.
